Vision Statement

& Christian Values

At St Barnabas we aim:

  • To offer a well-balanced education, placing an emphasis on developing the whole child.
  • To foster a love of learning, ensuring children strive for academic, artistic and sporting excellence
  • To encourage children to be happy, confident and respectful young people who make a positive contribution to society.

 Our Vision

St Barnabas’ is known as the son of encouragement.  He is known as an apostle (one who is sent) who was sent out by the church with Paul on many missionary journeys.

Our Junior Leadership Team recently met with members of staff and Fr John to review our school vision.

Our school vision is based on a shell - one of the symbols linked to St Barnabas'.  The school vision is also connected to that of St Barnabas' Church - demonstrating our spiritual connection between school and church.
